As of October 9, 2026, shopinfo.app tracks 354 base Shopify themes (1,436 listings including presets) from 135 developers, with theme detections recorded on 9,318 stores. 324 are live on the Shopify Theme Store, 9 are vintage, and 21 are retired or removed. Of the 324 live themes with a recorded price, 2 are free and 322 are paid; the median paid price is $300.

Method
- A base theme is one Theme Store listing. Presets (style variations) are counted as listings, not as themes.
- Live means the listing is on the Theme Store and is not a vintage theme. Vintage, retired, and removed listings stay in the database for historical reference, so totals exceed the number of themes for sale today.
- Prices are the most recent price shopinfo.app recorded for each live base theme, in US dollars, as shown on the Theme Store. Themes with no recorded price are excluded from price figures.
- "Stores" counts distinct storefronts on which shopinfo.app has identified a theme, through its detection tools and Chrome extension. It is not a count of all Shopify stores.
- Developer counts are distinct developer names on tracked listings.
- Theme records are refreshed daily from the Shopify Theme Store. This page is cached for one hour.
